Seed Library

This What is a seed library?

A seed library is a place where gardeners “borrow” seeds from the library.  When the growing season is finished, they save seeds from their garden and return some to the seed library.

How does the seed library work?

Stop by the library and look through our beautiful card catalog filled with seeds!  You can take a whole packet, or you can take just a few seeds using our small seed envelopes.

Donating Seeds

If you have packets of seeds that you don’t need this season, you can bring them in and put them in the seed library.  If you would like to donate seeds from plants grown at home, towards the end of the growing season, stop by the Library and pick up some envelopes.  Bring them home with you and fill and label them.  Then bring them back to the Library and we’ll store them safely until next season!
